I now repair The New iPad (or iPad 3!)
G’day readers! I am now able to do screen and glass replacement for The New iPad (or iPad 3 if you prefer!). Its a little more expensive than the iPad 2, but that is to be expected as the parts are harder to get your hands on and the job is even more fiddly than the iPad 2 glass replacment!
I will post some tips and tricks for iPad 3 Glass replacement in the near future, so keep an eye out!

Thats unfortunate, however it can be repaired! I charge $170.00 for iPad 2 Glass replacement (includes parts, labour, and warranty). It can take anywhere up to 3 hours so it is usually best if you drop it off and leave it overnight. Please let me know if you would like to book it in.

G’day, thanks for your enquiry. I charge $189.00 for iPad 3 glass replacement. This includes the parts, labour and a 3 year warranty. it usually takes about 3 hours but please give me at least a days notice as I occasionally might need to order parts.

However, I am always happy to help people out with their own iPad repairs and iPad screen replacements as they are expensive & fragile, and a little assistance goes a long way. There are plenty of people that would rather pay someone else to repair their iPad and thats where I earn a buck or two. Thanks for your comment :)

Hi mick, my son is 4 yrs old and he thought he was doing a good thing by cleaning the screen on our ipad2 and his efforts have left bad scratches over most of the screen! How much will this cost to fix?

No problem, I charge $ 180.00 for iPad glass replacement including parts, labour, and a 3 year warranty. However this usually involves removing broken glass which makes it very time consuming. As yours is not broken, I would be happy to replace you glass for $120.00. Please let me know if you would like to book it in.

Yes that’s right, the white border is part of the glass on top. It is a single piece and the whole piece needs to be replaced.
You are looking at $180.00 for iPad 3 including the parts, labour, and a 3 year warranty. It has quietened down a little after the crazy holiday weekend so you are looking at overnight turn around at the moment.
